Workshops and Tutorials
We invite experts in different areas to organize either a tutorial or a workshop to be held on the first day or second day of the conference. Tutorials are meant to provide insights into specific topics through hand-on training and interactive experiences. Workshops are exciting opportunities to present a focused research topic cumulatively. Tutorials and workshops can be half- or full-day in duration including oral presentations, posters and live demonstrations. Submission format: two pages including title, list of speakers, concept and target audience. A submission should be a one/two pages resume of the intended workshops with indication of the invited speakers, duration (half day or full day), open to paper/poster submission and website.
Proposals should be maximum of two pages long following the Papers formatting mentioned below, Proposals should be submitted in PDF format by email to IEEE ICDL 2021 official email (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Candidate papers must be original research articles published in a journal relevant to the research area during 2020 or 2021. Papers that are in press may be submitted as long as the final camera-ready version is available online. Extensions of papers that have been previously presented as conference papers may NOT be submitted to this track.
All submissions must be made by May 28th 2021, including (in a single PDF):
- Title of the original journal paper.
- Abstract of the paper.
- A complete reference to the original paper in APA format.
- URL where the paper can be shown being formally published by the publisher if available, or proof of the final acceptance.
- URL where the paper with its final camera-ready contents can be freely download for the evalution process.
- A cover letter (no more than half page) to explain why the authors believe that the paper is central for ICDL.
Submissions will go through an expedited selection process led by the conference chairs. Selection criteria include the significance of the results and relevance to the ICDL community.
LaTeX and Word Templates for the conference papers are available.
The templates are standard IEEE two-column paper templates, to be used for all submission types.
Submission needs to use US letter format in [Template download]
It is suggested to remove all the headers, copyright statements and page numbers from the templates because paper size and margins on each page are enforced, if authors do not remove these, they will not be able to upload their papers.
